چکیده
The two-user Gaussian interference channel (G-IC) is revisited, with a particular focus on practically amenable discrete input signalling and treating as noise (TIN) receivers. corresponding deterministic (D-IC) first investigated coding schemes that can achieve the entire capacity region of D-IC under TIN are proposed. These then systematically translated into multi-layer superposition based purely inputs for real-valued G-IC. Our analysis shows proposed scheme able to within constant gap all parameters. To best our knowledge, this constant-gap result regimes. Furthermore, approach extended obtain complex-valued For such scenario, minimum distance achievable rate analyzed, which takes account effects random phase rotations introduced by channels. Simulation results show capable approaching G-IC significantly outperforms in various

Gaussian Z Channel with Intersymbol Interference
In this paper, we derive a capacity inner bound for a synchronous Gaussian Z channel with intersymbol interference (ISI) under input power constraints. This is done by converting the original channel model into an n-block memoryless circular Gaussian Z channel (n-CGZC) and successively decomposing the n-block memoryless channel into a series of independent parallel channels in the frequency dom...
متن کاملOn the Optimality of Treating Interference as Noise for K user Parallel Gaussian Interference Networks
It has been shown recently by Geng et al. that in a K user Gaussian interference network, if for each user the desired signal strength is no less than the sum of the strengths of the strongest interference from this user and the strongest interference to this user (all signal strengths measured in dB scale), then power control and treating interference as noise (TIN) is sufficient to achieve th...

متن کاملCapacity Bounds and High-SNR Capacity of the Additive Exponential Noise Channel With Additive Exponential Interference
Communication in the presence of a priori known interference at the encoder has gained great interest because of its many practical applications. In this paper, additive exponential noise channel with additive exponential interference (AENC-AEI) known non-causally at the transmitter is introduced as a new variant of such communication scenarios. First, it is shown that the additive Gaussian ch...

It is shown that in the K -user interference channel, if for each user the desired signal strength is no less than the sum of the strengths of the strongest interference from this user and the strongest interference to this user (all values in decibel scale), then the simple scheme of using point-to-point Gaussian codebooks with appropriate power levels at each transmitter and treating interfer...
